Desoto students have been reading and identifying different elements within literature. They presented their reports on their respective books, and they got very creative!



Farmersville students have been building a word wall for sight words. You cannot build up a vocabulary if you never meet any new words. In order to meet new words, you must read. The more you read, the better.
Ki Charter Liberty Hill students participated in Read Across America Week. They challenged themselves to complete 350 lessons in our Reading Plus program, and succeeded! For completing the challenge, we allowed students the opportunity to throw water balloons at their teachers. A fun time was had by all!




Farmersville students recently explored color theory in art class. They created some great pieces of art!
Our students at San Marcos have been busy with their various projects! Students celebrate Black History Month by researching prominent figures. Elementary students created airplanes out of popsicle sticks as part of a STEM project focused on aviation. San Marcos students participated in an SEL activity where students could share positive notes for Valentine's Day.



In honor of Black History Month, Mrs. Collins and her students created grid portraits of famous African Americans. Ms. Sargent and students decorated the wall with pictures of famous African Americans and a brief summary of their accomplishments.



Students at Ki Charter DeSoto celebrate their successes by decorating portions of a large class poster to be prominently displayed once complete.
Mrs. Susan’s middle school class is studying fossils. They recently were able to study their own fossils and learn how paleontologists dig up fossils and restore them.



Farmersville students learned the teaching of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.! They participated in an activity which explored his powerful message on equality, nonviolence, and community building.



Ki Charter Liberty Hill returned from holiday break refreshed and ready for the new semester. Teachers and aides spent an afternoon participating in professional development. They discussed strategies to ensure success for our team and our students. We are looking forward to a productive semester with our students!
Mrs. Edna’s class worked diligently on their end-of-semester projects. They created a children’s book explaining a science concept they learned over the past six weeks. Students then presented their books to the class.





Mr. Romann’s math class is currently working on projectile motion in the PITSCO lab. They conduct experiments with each module they complete. Keep up the hard work!
Excel Fort Worth students are nominated by their therapist for an exemplary week. Mrs. Taylor’s student was one of the students chosen. This student exhibits exemplary characteristics in the classroom. Way to go!
Lewisville students recently celebrated red ribbon week. They created art work and pamphlets on drug abuse and how to take medication appropriately.
