DeSoto Campus

Dear Community,

It is an honor to introduce myself as the new principal for Ki Charter Schools for the DeSoto and Farmersville campuses. I can assure you that I share in this school’s commitment to caring for your children each day while providing them with an enriching learning environment. I am a seasoned educator with over 18 years of experience in a classroom and as an administrator. Although I have always felt at home in the classroom, it is in my position as a principal where I have been most fulfilled in my life’s work. The principalship gives me the chance to work with teachers daily, while also remaining connected to students learning and growing in the classroom. I passionately believe that every child can excel. I believe in building the confidence in these students so that they use their talents and knowledge to shape their future and the future of our community and our nation. To our students, I cannot wait to meet you all! In closing, please know that my door is always open to you. I heartily welcome your conversation and positive input throughout this school year. Let us always keep our students the primary focus of our work. I look forward to celebrating our collective successes during the school year.

Sincerely,

Dr. Whitney Gonzales
